Aam Panna is one of those drinks our grannies used to make to save us from the heat. No we are not talking about mango juice here.
Aam Panna is considered beneficial for treating gastrointestinal disorders, also due to the presence of various vitamins like vitamin C, B1 and B2 it has proved to be the best drink during the sun-kissing season!
So reach out to the kitchen and follow the steps for beating the shit out of the heat with this cool appetizer!
Step 1: Peel and slice the raw mangoes into two to three pieces and let them boil in a pressure cooker till they get tender.
Step 2: Shift the tender mango slices in a jar and throw the water. Use a blender to blend the slices and not a mixer. I repeat, not a mixer.
Step 3: Add black salt, common salt and black pepper along with alot of sugar. Sugar is added to balance the extra- sour taste of raw mangoes!
Step 4: You can always change the quantity of the above mentioned ingredients according to your taste.
Step 5: Pour the drink into a glass and sprinkle roasted cumin seeds over it.
Step 6: Garnish it with fresh mint leaves for a refreshing blend of taste!
