Amchur Chutney – Navratri Special 

Tamarind chutney’s substitute for fasting period and also when you’re short of time! 

Let’s see how it is created.


  • 1 tablespoon amchur powder 
  • 6 tablespoons water 
  • 3/4-1 cup sugar
  • 1 tsp rock salt 
  • Red chilli powder to taste 


  • Mix amchur powder and water(ratio 1:6) 
  • Cool it for 15-20 minutes till it thickens.
  • Add sugar, rock salt and chilli powder.
  • Bring it to boil and your chutney is ready. 

Enjoy it with Kuttu ke atte ke pakode!!
