Wine brings to light the hidden secrets of the soul,  gives being to our hopes, bids the coward flight, drives dull care away, and teaches new means for the accomplishments of our wishes.” – Horace

Hola fam, today’s write up is gonna be interesting. After having a wonderful Wine Tasting Session at the Palate Fest, I’m up with the review to help you choose the best.

The first wine that came for tasting was the Sparkling wine, named as “GRAN CUVEE BRUT”.

It is an experience you’ve been privy to. As they say, it lifts a floral nose with a mouthful of delicious flavour finishing off with vibrant acidity. It’s a young wine, riddled after 14 months. Pair it up with DAL VADA or NORI ROLLS and your evening is sorted.

The second one was the WHITE WINE, by the name of “CHARDONNAY” .

With the aroma of orange and lemon, the wine exemplifies great balance alongwith subtle notes of white flowers. Pacifying you with good acidity, elegance and structure, this wine goes well with my favourite, “Paneer Bhurji”

It indeed was a revelatory moment for me.

The last and the most appeasing was the RED WINE, the gorgeous ruby-red hued wine goes by the name “CABERNET-SAUVIGNON”.

The flavour of tobacco and plum on the nose has a different feel.  Nuances of black olives, pepper and dark plum coupled with a balanced acidity and soft tannins on the palate come together to make a complex wine.

I’m pairing it up with Spaghetti tonight. Would you like to join?

Fratelli does justice to your palate by offering delicious wines. Do let me know your experience in the comment section below.

And, don’t forget to show some love on Facebook and Instagram as well.
